Learn by doing or experiencing! A child learns the best with a hands-on approach. Although we measure success with favorable results, however, the efforts and participation matter more than the results. Parents and educators should encourage the children to focus more on their efforts and attempts rather than the results. If the focus is solely on the results, then the efforts will not be wholehearted.

It should be made clear to the child, that as much as good mark sheets are important, but it is alright to miss it, what matters is how much effort have you put in to gain knowledge and how much have you learned? Achievements are not a one-shot goal, it happens with dedicated hard work and overtime. It is not something we can predict with certainty that will happen. Not all of us might agree with the interests of the child, but that does not make the child wrong or the interests wrong.
