August 8, 2023“Friendship Day is just an opportunity to let our friends know that we value their presence in our life.”
To make this day a memorable one, the young Doonites of Grades 1 and 2 poured out their warm feelings by singing poems, songs and a few lines about the best qualities of their friends. As a token of love, they exchanged handmade greetings. This activity helped them in developing important life skills like getting along with other people, sorting out conflicts and problems. Being a part of a global society, it is important to foster friendships with different people regardless of race, religion, language and colour.
