Saplings of Hope: School Plants Seeds for Greener Tomorrow

Doon International School, New Chandigarh, transformed into a verdant canvas as it hosted a tree plantation drive, ‘Green Symphony’. Eminent personalities like Dr. Avtar Singh Patang, Pal Ajnabi, and Labh Singh Lehli,  from the Literary world, graced the occasion. Students enthusiastically planted saplings of Shisham, Shehtoot, Mango, Sukhchain, and Jamun, pledging to nurture their growth. Each grade adopted a tree, symbolising their commitment to environmental stewardship. The event was a harmonious blend of nature and education, inspiring young minds to become guardians of the planet.
